Neshoba County General Hospital - Nursing Home Announces New Wound Care Center

Neshoba County General Hospital - Nursing Home, is dedicated to providing comprehensive medical services for our Community. We are excited to announce the recent opening of our Wound Care Center, located on the 2nd floor of the hospital.

The Wound Care Center is staffed by Grant Guild, MD and Andy Dabbs, General Surgeon and Consultant. Patients of Neshoba and surrounding counties are now able to come to Neshoba General Hospital to receive state-of-the-art medical and surgical treatment for non-healing wounds.

We offer customized treatment for diabetic ulcers; ulcers from arterial disease; venous stasis ulcers; decubitus ulcers; traumatic wounds and burns that do not meet hospital admission criteria. Types of therapies offered in the wound center are excisional debridement; enzymatic debridement; negative pressure wound therapy and graded pressure dressings.

Currently, the Wound Center will be open on Wednesdays from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm. If you have questions or would like additional information please call our dedicated professionals at 601-663-4224.
