At Neshoba General, we understand just how important quality sleep is to your overall well-being. According to the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, more than one hundred million Americans of all ages struggle to get the rest they need. That is why we have opened a dedicated three-bed Sleep Center right here in Neshoba County to help our community sleep better and live healthier. Our caring team is here to diagnose and treat a wide range of sleep disorders in a comfortable, home-like setting designed with rest in mind.

The Sleep Lab is found on the first floor, just beside the Hospital Gift Shop. We have recently added a third room to better serve our patients. Each room is designed with cozy, home-like touches to help you feel relaxed and at ease during your sleep study. Our goal is to create a comfortable, supportive environment that helps you rest well and feel as close to home as possible.

Our Services

At Neshoba General’s Sleep Center, we are here to help you get the rest you deserve. Most patients stay overnight for testing, where we can monitor your sleep in a quiet, comfortable environment. Our team specializes in identifying and treating a wide range of sleep disorders, including obstructive sleep apnea, narcolepsy, and restless leg syndrome. Many sleep issues are connected to breathing problems, but lifestyle, work schedules, travel, mental health, and environmental factors can also play a role.

We understand there is a growing need for timely sleep care in our community. While nearby centers may have long wait times, sometimes for months we are proud to offer more immediate access to diagnosis and treatment right here at home. You should not have to wait to start feeling better. At Neshoba General, we believe everyone in our community deserves a good night’s sleep.

Our Sleep Center is staffed by compassionate, highly trained professionals, including Registered Polysomnographic Technologists. For your convenience, we also offer weekly sleep clinics to support your ongoing care.


Tips for a Better Night's Sleep

Getting quality sleep starts with good habits. Here are a few helpful tips to improve your rest:

We recommend that you:

  • Stick to a regular sleep schedule even on weekends.
  • Create a calming bedtime routine.
  • Avoid caffeine and heavy meals before bedtime.
  • Keep your bedroom cool, dark, and quiet.
  • Limit screen time in the hour before sleep.
  • Get regular exercise but not too close to bedtime.
