Neshoba General is dedicated to providing comprehensive medical services for our community. Our Wound Care Center is located on the 2nd floor of the hospital.
The Wound Care Center is staffed by Grant Guild, MD and Andy Dabbs, General Surgeon and Consultant. Patients of Neshoba County and beyond are now able to come to Neshoba General to receive state-of-the-art medical and surgical treatment for non-healing wounds.
We offer customized treatment for:
- Diabetic ulcers
- Ulcers from arterial disease
- Venous stasis ulcers
- Decubitus ulcers
- Traumatic wounds and burns that do not meet hospital admission criteria
These types of wounds require the unique care of wound treatment specialists. Our team is dedicated to finding effective solutions that will help you feel better and faster.
Therapies Offered
Taking advantage of advanced technology and the industry’s leading treatment methods, Neshoba General offers several effective therapies to treat serious wounds.
The therapies offered in our wound care center include:
- Excisional debridement
- Enzymatic debridement
- Negative pressure wound therapy
- Graded pressure dressings
Availability
- Our Wound Care Physician is available, Wednesday 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 .m.
- Our Wound Care Nurse is available Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
