Neshoba General Volunteer Program

Neshoba General Is Always There.

Who Can Volunteer?

Each of our volunteers give from their heart to serve our patients and visitors. A volunteer can be anyone over the age of 18 with a desire to meet the needs of others. We have retirees, students, and people who wish to donate their time to help others. All are from various backgrounds and each brings their own special experiences and willing heart.

What We Do:

The Neshoba Volunteer Program serves the hospital, the patients, and the community in innumerable ways. We comfort nursing home residents who are alone, deliver flowers and cards, welcome and escort visitors. Our Volunteers offer smiles, helping hands, caring words and thoughtful services. They give comnfort and compassion to patients and families. They help at health events, such as annual flu shot clinics or health fairs.

Volunteer Benefits:

Some of the benefits of being a folunteer include:

  • Fulfillment from helping our patients, their families and visitors
  • Make many new friends
  • Fellowship with other volunteers
  • Learning new skills
  • Have lots of fun while adjusting your own schedule
